Services

Six ways to cut your energy costs

From the first look at your bills to generating and selling electricity — one team, one point of responsibility.

  • Solar PV plants

Rooftop and ground-mounted solar plants for businesses and households in Bosnia and Herzegovina — from load and roof analysis to grid connection.

  • Energy consulting

Energy audits, consumption and tariff analysis, feasibility studies and a costed action plan to cut energy spend — with financing and CBAM guidance.

  • Reactive compensation

Paying for excess reactive energy? We design and install turnkey reactive power compensation — the energy investment with the shortest payback.

  • EV charging

Design and installation of AC, fast and ultra-fast DC chargers for businesses, fleets, hotels and car parks — with smart load management.

  • Electricity brokerage

In a liberalised market, business electricity prices differ from one company to the next. We help you understand offers, compare suppliers and cut costs.

  • Renewable generation

SHPP develops projects and generates electricity from renewables — solar, hydro, wind, cogeneration and biogas — using the potential of BiH.

How we work

From an electricity bill to a plant that generates

  1. Consumption analysis

We review your bills, load profile and connection capacity to size the system to your real consumption.

  2. Concept and ROI

We propose capacity, layout and equipment, with estimated yield, savings and payback period.

  3. Design and permits

We prepare the design documentation and manage approval with the relevant distribution system operator.

  4. Construction and commissioning

Equipment supply, installation, testing and grid connection — with clear deadlines and one contact person.

  5. Monitoring and maintenance

We track generation, respond to deviations and maintain the plant so it keeps running at full capacity.

What does SHPP do?

SHPP d.o.o. Sarajevo is a renewable energy company founded in 2011. We design and build solar plants and provide energy consulting and efficiency, reactive power compensation, EV charging stations, electricity sales brokerage and renewable electricity generation. To date we have completed 71 projects with a total installed capacity of 30,000 kWp.

Where do you work — only in Sarajevo?

No. Our head office is in Sarajevo (Kasima ef. Dobrače 17), and we deliver projects across Bosnia and Herzegovina — including Sarajevo, Vogošća, Visoko, Konjic, Cazin, Bosanska Krupa, Gradačac, Zavidovići, Vitez, Kiseljak, Breza, Usora and Gornji Vakuf.

How do I get a quote?

Fill in the “Request a quote” form at /en/request-a-quote/, email shpp@shpp.ba or call +387 61 214 113. For a solar plant or energy analysis, the most useful inputs are your electricity bills for the last 12 months and basic building details (roof type, location, connection capacity).

How much electricity does a solar plant produce in Bosnia and Herzegovina?

Public solar-resource datasets give estimates in the order of 1,500 kWh per installed kWp per year for optimally oriented systems in BiH, with more sun in the south than the north. Actual yield depends on the orientation, tilt and shading of the specific roof and can be noticeably lower, so each building gets its own simulation.

How much does a solar plant cost and how long is the payback?

Cost depends on size, roof and mounting type, equipment and electrical works, so a serious quote is only possible after reviewing your bills and the building. Payback depends mostly on how much energy you consume yourself at the time of generation and what you pay for electricity — businesses with high daytime consumption usually see faster payback.

How much could your own plant save you?

Send us your basic consumption data — we will prepare a concept design and a payback estimate.
